MLT Charity walk

This term saw MPCT Sports Academy walk from Channel View leisure centre, Cardiff to Pontypridd via the Taff Trail which was 15 miles which was completed in one day by the learners.

Days prior to the event learners walked 6 miles around Cardiff as a warm up walk ready for the big day. Learners walked around Cardiff looking at some of Cardiff’s famous landmarks like the Principality Stadium, Cardiff Castle and the Millennium Centre. This was to ensure learners had preparation going into the 15-mile walk and sparked good conversations about Welsh culture. Learners completed the walk in 5 hours and raised arround £200 for the Motivational & Learning Trust.
